New papercut to come - Nueva pieza de papel cortado porvenir

This is for a very special little someone. It will be a commemorative papercut to be hung in the nursery of my friends' future son.

Esta va a ser para una persona muy especial. Es una ilustración de papel cortado conmemorativa para el nacimiento del futuro hijo de unos amigos muy queridos.

Había recibido un set de gubias y esponjas para tallar sellos en Navidad, y desde entonces y mientras terminaba varios trabajos que tenía que entregar, me costó demasiado aguantarme las ganas de probarlas.

Hasta que finalmente hoy llegó el feliz día de tener un campito en el día para jugar con ellas y ha estado muy divertido!

I had received a set of carving knives and stamp pads for Christmas. Ever since then I have been craving to pounce on them and try my hand at stamp carving, while finishing several jobs I had to finish.

Finally today is the happy day I get a free afternoon to play around with them, and it has been so much fun!

El proyecto de hoy: Un dodecaedro como estrella para el árbol!
Me tomó unas 20 horas de trabajo, pero bien valió la pena, creo...
Como el nombre lo indica. está hecho con 20 pirámides de tres caras cada una, en cartón reflectivo.

Lo & behold my nerdy Christmas project: A stellated dodecahedron to top the tree!
Work time was around 20 hours, but it is well worth it, I think...
Like the name suggests: it has 20 three-faced.pyramids handcut from reflective cardboard.
